Introducing Greece (and, in this case, Cyprus)

I’ve always had a big thing for Greek music, so I’m very happy to add the Greek charts today. At number 1 is yet another familiar face for Eurovision fans, Cypriot singer Michalis Hatzigiannis / Μιχάλης Χατζηγιάννης, quite possibly now the most popular male singer in Greece, and much better than his Eurovision entry in 1998 might have implied. Η αγάπη που μένει / I agapi pou meni (Love that lives) has managed to top the charts without having a music video. However, it does help that it’s the theme tune to a popular show on Greek television. I don’t know anything about that show, but, looking at these credits, I would assume and hope that it’s a comedy:
