La voz de van Gogh

Amaia Montero left La Oreja de Van Gogh, possibly the biggest-selling Spanish band of the last ten years, to develop artistically, sing things she couldn’t have sung with the band, etc, etc. This is probably equivalent to when Ronan Keating left Boyzone to sing ballad after ballad after ballad, as Quiero ser sounds very much like LOdVG did / probably will do when they get some material out with new singer, Leire Martínez, discovered on a Spanish show called, oh yes, Factor X. Still, with yet another number 1 under her belt, we doubt that Amaia is particularly bothered.
