At the risk of sounding as stupid as I look right now, doesn’t this sort of thing make you realise that life is bloody wonderful? I think I might just play this on a loop until I get an ASBO.

To make it all even better, this success means that lead singer Mai has well and truly outdone the other 15 participants on the second series of Operación Triunfo, back in 2002.

Oh, and she came 16th.

I actually hope she feels smug about this.
